Isle of Man Islamic Association (registered charity No. 432) came into being in the early 90’s when a plot of land was donated and the first and currently the existing mosque has been built in Douglas. It was in the 90’s that the community marginally increased and continues to do so with people working in medical, finance and hospitality sector.

The community comprising of people from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, South Africa, Morocco, Sudan, Egypt and other countries. Social activities are organised on a regular basis and well attended, especially during Ramadan and Eid parties.

Prayers are held in the mosque daily, however Jumma prayers are held at a hall to accommodate everyone.
